The Airbar-Q device has multiple scaleable features allowing each individual
scenario to be catered for through the various standard and optional features.
It is paired with a highly accurate occupancy monitoring system that counts
customers in and out of an area allowing you to control the numbers of people
within the premises.
SOFT FLEXIBLE BARRIER
The Airbar barrier itself is a flexible material, ensuring there is no risk of harm to customers whilst creating a physical barrier that can be customised with messages / logos and advertisements.
AUTOMATED QUEUING
The system has been designed to allow the units to be configured with other barrier systems, allowing you to automate the queuing process without staff marshalling, linking with existing or installed occupancy monitoring systems which allows for the highest accuracy of people counting.
KEY FEATURES OF AIRBAR-Q
The key features of Airbar-Q have been kept very simple, the light system and soft barrier warn customers not to enter an area, and an alarm system that triggers if someone tries to enter when the barriers are closed. A counterweight base and wheels are added to allow flexibility of moving the posts around a venue.
AIRBAR-Q BATTERY LIFE
The systems battery life can last as long as 36 hours on a single charge and can be charged from 0% - 100% within 4 hours. Units can be supplied with one or two batteries dependant on usage scenario.
FULLY CONNECTED
The units are fully connected through a central occupancy monitoring system
allowing for a scale-able product offering. Wireless range is up to 1km and up to 500
metres indoors.

QUEUE MANAGEMENT OPTIONS
AUTOMATED INFRARED COUNTING
Airbar-Q can be supplied with an additional Infrared counting system which allows
for 99.5% accuracy rate of people counting within doorways, bathrooms and zoned
areas.
The counting line allows the system to count occupancy triggering the AirBar-Q
barrier to close and the lights turn to RED when occupancy is reached.
This easy, self-install system is perfect for all retail, hospitality, sporting and
entertainment enterprises.

WORKS
The Airbar-Q system connects with highly accurate Occupancy Monitoring Systems
provided by IRISYS and Ocucon.
This can count customers in and out of the premise at multiple exits and entrances
automatically. The timing of the Airbar-Q allows customers to walk out of the
premises ensuring they do not come into close contact with someone entering the
same property.
ALL WEATHER SOLUTIONS
The Airbar-Q solution is perfect for challenging weather, allowing customers to queue comfortably under cover in the street or within a car park. The battery powered, waterproof and wireless system can be configured anywhere outside the store allowing you to decide the best location for external queue.

OCCUPANCY
Limiting customers within bathroom space for social distancing is currently an issue, and one that is difficult for staff to monitor and manage. With Airbar-Q's occupancy monitoring system this will limit the number of people within this space to allow for safe social distancing.
STORE AISLE
OCCUPANCY
Even when store capacity has reached its safe maximum level, the Airbar-Q barrier system allows you to zone areas of the store limiting capacity to enable safe social distancing. Once the limit has been reached the barriers deploy meaning no further staff or customers can enter.
CHECK-OUT
CONTROL
Airbar-Q’s barrier allows retail and hospitality sectors to manage and control queuing at checkout areas limiting contact between customers and staff. Occupancy of a checkout area can be fully managed to only allow customers up to the checkout once the previous customer has cleared the area.
